Rocking in the Free World!

As you ladies and gentlemen are no doubt aware one of the last vestiges of communism has recently stepped down from power. This person is, you guessed it good ol' Fidel Castro. This guy likes to compare himself to my good buddy Jesu and hide his ugly totalitarian state behind the veil of "enlightened" socialism. While the idea of everyone being hombres and sharing the wealth does seem rather appealing I highly doubt that we would have produced all the rock gods we have from the "lovefest of grinding poverty and socialist practices (single kid laws, gulag, etc.)." Without the uneven capitalist society we would never have had all the enlightened music of AC/DC, the Ramones, Led Zeppelin, Blue Ouyster Cult, Sex Pistols, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, the Clash, Metallica, and others. How could we have lived on Jesus's great green ball of peace, harmony, and total annihilation? In short my fellow revolutionaries let us give thanks to the Moral Majority for the wonderful counter revolution they provoked.

I have a strange obsession with band related jokes.

Nuclear holocaust in 5...4...3...2...1...

I would like to give one final shoutout to all the B&B cast members. You guys were, are, is, and was awesome. This morning I woke up and felt ____blank______. Please substitute whatever word you like because your choice probably sums up what I felt at any given second this morning. Earspliting pain would be a good start as my alarm clock has the most annoying brain shattering noise the Flying Spaghetti Monster has put on this good green earth. I slipped and twisted my ankle walking downstairs, fell asleep in the shower, learned that my Eagle Project got a green light, got annoyed at my sister for hogging the bathroom, and got absolutely nothing to eat for breakfast. I'm going to be putting up a link list of my peeps so if you guys want your site linked please leave a comment with your url on it.

p.s. here are some quotes from a former leader of the free world

"Before I refuse to take your questions, I have an opening statement. "

"Don't be afraid to see what you see. "

"Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged. "

"I am not worried about the deficit. It is big enough to take care of itself. "

Can you guess who this is?

)-:

Well musical has come and gone. I still have yet to get my head around that fact and I suspect it will take at least a week to do so. It's so hard to believe that we'll be seniors next year. It is my most fervent prayer (sorry to all my atheist and agnostic friends) that next years musical pic will be especially fun. The cast party turned out much better than last years probably because it wasn't in a church. I wasn't particularly in the mood to dance or just chill so I left at around 11:45 to get some much needed sleep. I am way behind in both H. Chem. and APUS having a note book and two labs to turn in not to mention many of the other assignments. I actually got caught up on my Baily and AMSCO reading but still need to redo pages and pages of notes for my late notebook. Anyway I hope all my peeps are doing well with their post B&B life.
peace,

MUSICAL!!!!!!

My sincerest apologies to my faithful readers (a.k.a. Jake and Tim) for the lack of material posted by this exhausted soul. Musical has been absolutely kickass and an incredibly roller coaster experience. For those of you out there who have yet to experience B&B you are missing what I think is one of the best shows we have put on in a long time. SEE YOU THERE!
